Microsoft Teams Training
Show Racism the Red Card can effectively
use Microsoft Teams thanks to Cloud Know How

Objective
To deliver Microsoft Teams training to ensure their team can make full use of the features and capabilities in Microsoft Teams for day-to-day work and remote working, and so that administrators know how to add and manage users.
Solution
Our Cloud Solutions Architect delivered two training sessions remotely. A demo tenant was created to facilitate these sessions.
The first training session was for end-users learning how to use the Microsoft Teams platform. This was interactive whereby the trainer presented a deep dive into the product while being open for Q&A throughout the session. The session covered setting up, joining, and recording a Teams meeting, creating Teams, collaborating on files, 1:1 and group chats and calls, screen sharing and external access.
Following the training session, there was a final Q&A where we discussed how Teams can work best for Show Racism the Red Card, especially when it comes to delivering remote sessions to schools as well as the adult courses Show Racism the Red Card provides.
The second training session was for the IT administrators. We provided a run-through of the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and Teams Admin Center. This covered creating users, adding and removing users from Teams, setting up Microsoft 365 Groups and how to link them to SharePoint Online and Teams, plus how to set up policies for external guests and users.

Outcomes
The teams at Show Racism the Red Card now understand how to efficiently communicate and work remotely using Microsoft Teams. Since the training, they have been able to collaborate on documents in real time, present in a more confident manner and are now aware of how Teams can integrate with other useful apps. Following the training, the IT Administrators can administer users and Teams within the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and Teams Admin Center.
